John Waite has built a remarkable 40-year career as a solo artist and as the frontman of The Babys and Bad English. With one of the most distinctive voices in rock, Waite’s music has become synonymous with some of the most enduring hits of the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s.

His signature song, the #1 worldwide smash Missing You, remains a defining anthem of the era and a staple of radio playlists around the globe. With The Babys, he scored major hits including Isn't It Time, while Bad English reached international success with the chart-topping power ballad When I See You Smile. Additional solo favorites such as Tears, Change, and These Times Are Hard for Lovers further cemented his place in album-oriented rock history.

Waite’s music has also featured prominently on film soundtracks. Every Step of the Way and If Anybody Had a Heart appeared in the About Last Night soundtrack, while Deal for Life—written by Martin Page and Bernie Taupin—was featured in Days of Thunder.

As both a solo artist and bandleader, Waite was a fixture of album-oriented rock radio, known for his soaring power ballads, driving arena rock anthems, and touches of new wave–influenced power pop. Decades into his career, John Waite continues to perform his celebrated catalogue of hits, bringing the passion and unmistakable voice that have defined his enduring legacy.

The legendary Rhode Island multi-platinum rock’n’roll group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band began their career in 1973 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the "Eddie & The Cruisers - Motion Picture Soundtrack". The hit single “ON THE DARK SIDE" held the “#1” position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for five consecutive weeks. The album sold over 3 million copies and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA.

The title track from the group's 1985 follow-up album “TOUGH ALL OVER” became their second “#1” single on the Billboard Rock charts and the song “C-I-T-Y” reached the Billboard Top 20. John Cafferty's solo track “HEARTS ON FIRE" was featured in Sylvester Stallone’s film "ROCKY IV” and he received his second double Platinum soundtrack award. Over the years John has placed 35 songs in major motion pictures.

Today John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band continue to tour and bring their exciting live shows to fans around the world. In 2012 they were inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall Of Fame. 2022 marked the release of John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band’s GREATEST HITS on Iconoclassic Records. A comprehensive collection of all “original recordings” from their hit albums and movie soundtracks. In celebration of their 50 years together John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band will be releasing a long awaited album of brand new songs in the spring of 2024.

The pre-released single “DAY IN THE SUN” has received 5 star reviews and is climbing the national classic rock radio and streaming charts. It is featured in the new 2024 Peter Farrelly film “Ricky Stanicky” starring Zac Efron and John Cena.
