Celebrating 30 years as a band, Toad the Wet Sprocket is still recording and touring with the same spirit of unwavering independence that started it all over three decades ago. Their familiar harmonies and musical chemistry has won over legions of dedicated fans. The band emerged in the 90's with Modern Rock chart-topping successes with such songs as "Walk on the Ocean,” "All I Want," "Something’s Always Wrong," and "Fall Down." After several years of focusing on solo careers, the band reunited and released New Constellation and The Architect of Ruin (EP) and has been touring ever since. Their latest tour brings them to The Fred Amphitheater in Peachtree City on Saturday, June 10.

During their more than 25-year musical career, Marcy Playground has produced 5 worldwide studio albums and an extensive history of tours, film & TV placements, and achieved over 130 Million Streams. Their debut album was certified platinum in 1997, and their breakthrough hit and radio classic "Sex and Candy" spent a record 15 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart. That album also featured charting-topping singles "Sherry Fraser" and "Saint Joe on the School Bus." Their sophomore album, Shapeshifter, also produced the Billboard Modern Rock charting single, "It’s Saturday.” Their songs are featured on soundtracks for films such as Cruel Intentions, Antitrust, Simply Irresistible, and Hurricane Streets. The band is named after Marcy Open grade school in Minneapolis where lead singer and songwriter John Wozniak attended. In the early 90’s Wozniak moved to New York where he met co-founder and bassist, Dylan Keefe. The two eventually signed with Capitol Records, and the two have been a touring and recording partnership ever since.
