It all began back in 1973 at the University of Delaware’s Lane Hall when George, Jeff Simon, and their rhythm guitarist first hit the stage, playing a set filled with their favorite blues and rock covers. They were a young, energetic trio, full of passion and determination, with no more than a borrowed PA and a lot of heart.

Fast forward 50 years, and George Thorogood and the Destroyers have played over 8,000 shows, sold more than 15 million albums, and earned a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts in rock. With hits like "Bad to the Bone," "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer," and "Who Do You Love?", their high-energy shows have left audiences in awe across the globe.

This anniversary tour is a celebration of their incredible career, with George, Jeff, and the rest of the band giving it their all every night. The Destroyers' shows are a mix of blues, rock, and swagger, built on a foundation of humor, heart, and a true love for the music.

As part of their ongoing commitment to charity, a portion of the proceeds from this tour will benefit The Marla Thorogood Memorial Fund for Ovarian Cancer Research, along with partnerships supporting veterans, the homeless, and those in need through Musically Fed.
